Responsibilities
Assist in the design process, 3D development, selecting and ordering finishes, aid in organizing and preparing for meetings, incorporating designs into Revit, and help produce presentation materials
Conduct basic interpretations of sketches, drawings, codes, program, and other similar material
Support project team in development of interior design documentation and presentation materials
Assist in the development of a design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to continue to project space planning, lighting, material selection, and furniture design
Utilize BIM technologies in development of three-dimensional models of interiors and their components to develop construction documents
Assist in research of concepts, benchmarks, materials, typology, and precedents
Qualification
Required
Must be a high school student participating in the ACE Mentor Chicago program
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the date of hire
Experience preferred in Revit
Experience preferred in Sketch-Up, Rhino, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and InDesign
Possess excellent design, graphics, organizational and communication skills
Ability to interact within a multidisciplinary team of architectural/engineering/interior design professionals
Creativity, curiosity, motivation, and skills necessary to create conceptual models and advance design ideas with a team
