Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the ECAD library, currently shared across multiple contributors
Enforce and maintain quality and naming standards for all components
Act as the central decision-maker for library accuracy and governance
Support adjacent needs and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams as required
Train and guide colleagues on library standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of electronic components, datasheets, packaging types, and fit/form/function
OrCAD experience preferred but flexible; other ECAD tools (e.g., Altium) considered if current
IPC standards not mandatory; internal standards and training provided
Experience in industrial or automotive electronics aligns well; pure commercial backgrounds may be less transferable
Knowledge of SQL or component database management a plus
