New Grad, Entry LevelIntralox, L.L.C. is seeking a 3rd Shift Quality Inspector for their Cleveland, OH facility. The role involves performing routine inspections and testing of materials and products to ensure quality specifications are met, while collaborating with production teams on continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities
Perform routine inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications
Use precision measuring tools and testing equipment to assess product properties
Interpret product specifications and tolerances on engineering drawings and technical documentation to ensure compliance
Conducts visual inspections to ensure products meet visual appearance requirements
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including any non-conformances or deviations from standards
Understands the SPC data collection system to ensure that the manufacturing processes are in control in producing high quality products
Collaborate with production and quality teams on root cause analysis, continuous improvement projects, and critical success factors
Provide flexible support to other areas of the plant as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic understanding of measurement systems and tools
Ability to interpret quality drawings and sampling plans
Proficiency in basic computer software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
Work overtime as required, including weekends
Ability to perform the essential functions as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 50 – 100 lbs (over 50 lbs with an assist)
Preferred
Work experience in a manufacturing quality or plastic extrusion environment
Good visual acuity
Powered Industrial Vehicle experience
Experience with InfinityQS ProFicient on Demand or other SPC software
Passion for learning and growth with ability to manage own tasks and meet goals and objectives with little supervision
Demonstration of sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of making consistent, logical, and objective decisions using good judgment
Ability to assume good intentions and exhibit trust in workplace relationships
