Responsibilities
Instructor Position in Shoulder Biomechanical modeling
The position involves design and development of sophisticated musculoskeletal models for research in shoulder biomechanics modelling and specifically in the area of shoulder joint arthroplasty
The research position will require collaboration with scientists, biomechanical engineers, and orthopaedic surgeons
The position requires the ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary research team
They must manage all aspects of research projects, including: study design and setup, complex computer simulations, manuscript and report writing, advanced data and statistical analyses
Qualification
Required
PhD in Biomechanics
At least 2 years of post-doctoral training
Experience in musculoskeletal modeling
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary research team
Manage all aspects of research projects, including study design and setup, complex computer simulations, manuscript and report writing, advanced data and statistical analyses
Experience in MATLAB and Python code development
Preferred
Experience in shoulder Biomechanical modelling
Experience in Finite Element Analysis
Additional experience in Mimics (or other imaging 3D reconstruction software)
