Responsibilities
Lead project feasibility evaluations, optimizing site layouts with site-specific design considerations
Oversee the design and coordination of:
Roadway systems
Water distribution systems
Sanitary sewer networks
Stormwater management infrastructure
Manage zoning, platting, and permitting processes with city and county agencies
Direct preparation and submittal of construction plans, specifications, and permitting applications
Oversee stormwater management and erosion control design
Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, including construction timelines
Coordinate with surveyors, utility providers, municipalities, and contractors
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within financial targets
Provide support during lot sales and construction phases as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in land development engineering and project management
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
Active Texas P.E. license (Civil) in good standing
Strong experience with AutoCAD
Strong experience with HEC-HMS
Strong experience with HEC-RAS
Demonstrated experience managing residential subdivision projects
Strong knowledge of Texas municipal permitting and approval processes
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred

Strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
Detail-oriented with a strong command of budgets and timelines
Comfortable managing projects from concept through construction
