Telecommunications System Technician Trainee
The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is a leader in emergency management and homeland security. They are seeking a Telecommunications System Technician Trainee to respond to public safety communications problems and participate in training programs while adhering to FCC regulations.

Responsibilities
Responding to and resolving public safety communications problems for State Agency clients
Participate in on-the-job training
Complete an in-house technical training program
Follow Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules and regulations
Utilize office provided training, complex test equipment, computers, hand tools, the Telecommunications Division Manual (TDM), and technical literature
Communicate effectively on all written and verbal interactions
Interface with customers and co-workers to resolve issues and collaborate
Maintain a professional and team centered environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
Work proficiently with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Travel to and work in remote locations, high-elevations, and inclement weather conditions
Qualification
Required
Experience and education in the field of electronics technology
Ability to communicate effectively on all written and verbal interactions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Participation in the DMV Pull Program is required
A valid California Driver's License (CDL) is required
