Help Desk Technician
Verigent is seeking two experienced Help Desk Technicians to join their team before the end of the year or early next year. The ideal candidates will provide support for hardware, software, and networking issues, particularly in programming and configuring network devices.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1–2 help desk support for hardware, software, and networking issues
Configure, program, and troubleshoot switches, cameras, access points, and related devices
Work within Walmart processes, standards, and expectations
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors as needed
Document work performed, follow ticketing procedures, and maintain accurate records
Perform occasional overtime as requested (for day shift role)
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in a Walmart IT or networking environment highly preferred
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (switching, routing, Wi-Fi)
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently
Experience working with enterprise ticketing systems
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and on a schedule (overnight or day shift)
Preferred
Experience programming or configuring networking devices (switches, cameras, APs) within Walmart stores
Familiarity with Walmart's network systems, tools, and operational requirements
