Vitesse Systems is a leading provider of highly engineered antenna solutions, and they are seeking a Machinist I to join their team in Longmont, Colorado. The primary responsibility of the Machinist I is to program and manufacture high precision antenna feeds while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Program CNC machines according to internal policies and technical documentation using MasterCam under general supervision
Set-up and run CNC machines under general supervision
Operate manual machines as needed under general supervision
Read, interpret, and apply blueprints, GD&T, drawing, and specifications
Understand and adhere to quality and safety standards and company procedures
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles
Other duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of machining experience
Ability to hold tight tolerances
Strong communication skills
Strong math skills
Working knowledge of work rules and safety guidelines
Proficiency with GD&T
Proficiency reading blueprints

Preferred

Experience using Mastercam software is a plus
Related education or certifications will be considered in lieu of industry experience
