Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical areas
Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems
Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format
Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed
Performs lab operations duties that include, but are not limited to: ensuring lab equipment operability, ensuring test equipment calibration, and ensuring lab remains clean and well organized
Performs systems, subsystems and structures testing primarily associated with aeronautical platforms
Work with Lab Manager to plan sequence of operations, methods and organization of layout, fabrication and assembly of engineering test fixtures, holding devices and systems necessary to complete testing
Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions
Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format; uses predetermined methods, sequences, and setups to inspect or test specific equipment or product, making modifications and adjustments as necessary; performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed

Required

High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
Experience should include: Test equipment maintenance, Cable repair, Inventory control, and Electrical/mechanical assembly and/or troubleshooting
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Candidate must currently have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government DOD Clearance, as well as be able to obtain a Special Access Programs (SAP/SAR) level clearance as a condition of continued employment

Preferred

Avionics experience
CNI Experience
Proficiency in using basic engineering test equipment (e.g., Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Logic Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Power Meter)
Maintaining lab standards to company policy
Coordination of repairs
