Assembly Technician (2nd Shift)
EXALTA Group is seeking an Assembly Technician for their 2nd shift operations. The role involves assembling medical components and sub-components with a focus on quality and accuracy, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Assemble medical components and sub-components by use of manual or automated tools
Perform tasks under supervision from detailed work instructions and per drawing requirements
Perform assembly operations according to the production schedule
Communicate with the Production team to ensure that all products are produced in a timely manner, are in compliance with quality standards, and meet company goals
Comply with and maintain 5S and safe work environment practices
Exercises working knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars and inserts used on various machines
Read drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions
Adheres to safety and quality standards, and dedication to reporting and correcting all issues
Calculates dimensions or tolerances using instruments such as micrometers and calipers
Demonstrates attention to detail
Works independently and requires self-motivation
Regular duties include the ability to read, understand, and follow established processes and instructions, accurately complete paperwork required for production records
Tools used regularly include mics, calipers, drills, vision systems, multiple measuring devices including comparators, height gauges etc., and multiple hand tools
Responsible for adhering to all company safety and OSHA regulations
Responsible for adhering to Quality Assurance Program regulations
Maintains a clean work environment
Works overtime, as required
Regular and punctual attendance is required
