The Co-op student in Analytical Development will participate in assay development activities and support the characterization of Fc-fusion molecules through various laboratory tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform development, optimization and testing for ELISA, cell-based assays and various separation methods (chromatographic and electrophoretic)

Help with routine activities such as cell culture for potency assay development

Perform recombinant protein analytical testing in the lab, data analysis and document results in electronic laboratory notebook

Summarize and present the progress of your work

Participate in laboratory organization activities such as ordering and receipt of reagents and samples

Required

In a Bachelor's degree program or higher in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or related field at an accredited college or university
