As a Facilities Technician, you will ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across assigned properties, contributing to proactive facility management and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems

Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions that impact client operations and occupancy satisfaction

Handle general interior maintenance including hanging pictures, whiteboards, and completing small repairs

Assist operations teams with building and equipment maintenance as directed by management

Replace lighting fixtures and maintain HVAC systems by cleaning coils, changing filters, and replacing belts

Complete safety assessments and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

1-3 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work

Valid state driver's license

Physical capabilities to lift 80 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces

Preferred

Third-party certifications in relevant trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Previous experience in commercial facility environments

Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management Practices
