Responsibilities
Design and maintain enterprise data architecture, including Nexus Circular’s centralized data strategy
Build and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows
Develop and optimize data transformations and models
Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
Implement best practices for data engineering, governance, and performance
Support analytics and reporting teams with clean, structured data
Integrate new data sources and systems into the enterprise platform
Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Lead technical execution of advanced analytics and AI-enablement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of professional data engineering experience
Strong expertise in SQL and modern data platforms
Proven experience building production-grade data pipelines
Deep understanding of data modeling, transformations, and orchestration
Experience implementing enterprise data architectures
Working knowledge of database management
Preferred
Master's degree preferred in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Experience with Lakehouse architectures and large-scale migrations
Background in manufacturing or operational data environments
Familiarity with analytics tools and BI platforms
Experience enabling AI/ML data workflows
