Responsibilities

Performs problem tracking, diagnosis and root-cause analysis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution for highly complex issues
In this capacity, oversees others who perform programming and debugging activities
Responds to issues in a timely manner by receiving and investigating incidents or service tickets
Provides technical consultation on extremely challenging or unusual situations
May lead large, complex projects related to improving processes or support capabilities
May engage and manage external vendors
Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices
Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions
Mentors less experienced teammates to build technical expertise
May have people management responsibilities

Required

Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in development or production support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge
Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes
Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices
Ability to lead complex projects
Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems
Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective

Preferred

7+ years of experience in technical program or delivery management within enterprise IT, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure organizations
Strong understanding of platform technologies such as: Cloud infrastructure: AWS, Azure, or GCP, CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, IaC & automation: Terraform, Ansible, ServiceNow workflows, Container platforms: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Security & observability: Vault, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Splunk
Proven ability to drive delivery across multiple concurrent efforts with complex interdependencies
Exceptional skills in written communication, stakeholder influence, and risk management
Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Rally, Confluence, for tracking and reporting
Exposure to internal developer portals and platform product management
Background in software engineering, platform operations, or systems architecture
Experience working with compliance-heavy environments (NIST, SOX, FFIEC, ISO)
Familiarity with platform product management concepts and internal developer portals (e.g., Backstage)
SAFe Agile or PMP certification (or equivalent delivery methodology expertise)
