Responsibilities
Be responsible for installing various equipment, machinery, and computer systems for the U.S. Navy Ships
Install, service, and repair major components for the ships
Manage fabrication and assembly of various electromechanical and electronic assemblies within the team
Review and follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to completed and successful tasks within in deadlines
Effectively multi-task and thrive in a fast-pace dynamic production environment
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability obtain and gain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS), undergo a background investigation and pass a drug screening
10 years of experience in CIWS Installations or similar/related experience
10 years direct shipboard installation experience or similar/related experience
8 years as a Shipboard Installations Supervisor or similar/related experience
Ability to work any shift/designated hours required
Ability to work in high heat spaces and climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders
Proficient computer skills in MS Office products to use and create spreadsheets, reports, etc
The ability to travel 25% as needed
Preferred
6 years of experience serving in the U.S. Navy
An active or current DoD Secret Clearance
