Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities

Represent and communicate Rittal’s overall product line to potential and current customer base
Increase sales and market share within a defined region through strategic outreach and daily, initiative-taking sales activities
Identify and create high priority, target account contact database within defined regions
Contacts existing and potential customers to follow up on leads determine the status of quotations
Partner effectively with Field Sales to drive full cycle sales coverage and achieve regional goals
In-depth understanding of Rittal products, markets, applications, and distributor models
Detailed understanding of the customer’s needs as related to the products or services being sold
Collaborate with Inside Sales/Outside Sales/Manufacture Rep’s/Distributors
Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to management
Participate in trade shows and onsite/offsite customer visits, up to 25%
Complete rotation of training to gain advanced knowledge of products, selling skills, customer relationship skills and others as needed
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

Required

3-5 Years of experience in a sales-related position
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
Quick learner, receptive to coaching, and collaborative
Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
High energy, initiative-taking, and goal oriented

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
Technical background and knowledge of industrial products
Willingness to relocate for sales advancement opportunities
