Responsibilities
Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Participates in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications
Reviews all documentation for completeness, accuracy, and correctness personnel as a witness to testing requirements; presents IV&V results and troubleshoots technical problems; makes recommendations to improve overall quality
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problem
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems
Installs/loads operating system and application software
Isolate and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof
Troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems
Qualification
Required
Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph
IAT II (Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP)
IAM II (CASP+, CAP, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC)
US Citizenship Required
Experience working on a development team under DoD/DIA Risk Management Framework
Understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS based architecture
Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2
High School Diploma/ GED with 16 years of experience
Associates Degree with 14 years of experience
Bachelors' Degree with 12 years of experience
Masters' Degree with 10 years of experience
PhD with 8 years of experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in information technology, or information management and twelve years of comparable work experience
Up to ten or more years of program/application operations experience
Experience in the Intelligence Community
Strong risk management skills
Excellent communication, teamwork and conflict management skills
