Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and testing of software systems and applications using structured software lifecycle processes
Provide technical input and support for software development and deployment activities, including debugging and troubleshooting
Maintain and update software documentation, including user guides and technical specifications
Work with senior engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet business and technical requirements
Qualification

Active or Current DOD Secret Clearance
Current Security + Certification
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another relevant field is required. Equivalent work experience may be accepted (2 to 4 years with a degree, 4 to 6 years without a degree)
2 to 4 years of IT and business/industry experience with a degree, or 4 to 6 years of experience without a degree
Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes, programming languages, and tools for designing, developing, and testing software systems
Preferred
Basic understanding of DoD and Army standards, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity compliance
Exposure to Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps practices
Ability to assist in identifying and resolving software issues and improving system functionality
Entry-level certifications such as relevant programming certifications are preferred
