Responsibilities

Own the Assembly & Test phase for Navy products—protecting safety, quality, and schedule
Be the force multiplier for a team of Navy Technicians through mentorship, engagement, and continuous feedback
Keep information flowing across engineering, quality, supply chain, and program management to meet customer commitments
Create and refine procedures, troubleshoot issues, and drive efficient throughput
Interviewing and hiring great technicians; onboarding and training them for success
Planning, assigning, and directing daily work to hit goals while maintaining safety and quality
Developing skills, encouraging growth, setting expectations, and conducting performance appraisals
Recognizing performance, addressing issues with fairness, and resolving problems promptly
Building positive, respectful relationships and modeling consistent leadership
Continuously sharpening your own supervisory toolkit

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline; or six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 2 years in a complex assembly environment
At least 2 years in a people-leadership role
3+ years working with recognized quality systems (ISO, AS, QS, TS)
Willing to work overtime as required
Travel up to 10%
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e., current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. 1157-1158
Security clearance is required for this position
