Responsibilities
Identify areas where software can be developed to provide operational efficiency and detailed visibility into metrics and ongoing activities to the customer
Identify areas where software and AI based automation can be developed to reduce errors, increase availability and velocity of operations
Enhance our automation capabilities and develop orchestration to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Design, develop and test software keeping a, b and c in mind and working with other engineers on the team
Support Puppet and Oracle operational work
Be excellent in organization and time management
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field
Experience in AWS and GCP
Excellent programming skills in Python / Java / Terraform / Go
Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines
Willingness to learn and master unfamiliar technologies and/or concepts
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
Proactive and forward thinking attitude and creative problem solving ability
Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
Experience in Cloud Technologies like AWS and GCP
Excellent analytical and coding skills
Must have expertise in Python, Javascript, Go
Knowledge in Database Operations
Experience with Puppet
Preferred
Experience in Postgress, Terraform, Kubernetes, Karpenter
Knowledge in Elastic Search/Kibana stack
Knowledge in REST APIs
