Responsibilities
Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person
Install and configure software applications and hardware peripherals
Help maintain and monitor computer systems and networks
Perform routine updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security
Assist with the setup of new user accounts and ensure proper access controls
Document IT procedures, processes, and troubleshooting steps
Create and maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies
Generate reports on system performance and other key metrics as needed
Participate in IT-related projects such as system upgrades, software implementations, or migrations
Conduct research and provide recommendations for new technologies and tools
Collaborate with team members on improving current IT systems and processes
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting principles
Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, or Linux
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common IT tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Experience with programming languages or scripting (e.g., Python, Java, PowerShell)
Familiarity with IT frameworks or standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO)
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
