Outbound Customer Retention Specialists
Apt is expanding its Customer Experience team and is seeking Outbound Customer Retention Specialists to enhance customer retention efforts. This role involves proactive outreach to existing customers to understand their needs and ensure their continued relationship with the company.
Responsibilities
Make proactive outbound calls to existing customers identified as potential churn or non-renewal risks
Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand:
Contract and renewal timelines
Intent to continue service
Concerns, challenges, or requested changes
Re-establish relationships with customers who may not have been contacted in years
Accurately document call outcomes, insights, and next steps in a CRM system (Salesforce)
Partner closely with leadership, who actively supports and joins calls as needed
Handle some inbound calls generated through coordinated marketing campaigns
Share customer feedback and trends that help inform retention strategies
Deliver a thoughtful, professional, and customer-first experience on every interaction
Qualification
Required
Experience in customer service, customer success, retention, or outbound calling environments
Comfortable with proactive outreach and consultative customer conversations
Strong communication, listening, and relationship‑building skills
Ability to ask the right questions and uncover underlying customer needs
Organized and detail‑oriented with documentation and follow‑up
Adaptable and comfortable joining a newly formed, evolving team
Preferred
Experience using CRM tools preferred (Salesforce is a plus, not a requirement)
