Global Technical Trainer, CAD/CAM & Imaging - Charlotte, NC

The Global Technical Trainer, CAD/CAM and Imaging Systems is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality technical training programs to ensure that internal service teams and external partners are equipped with the necessary technical knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and implements technical training programs for internal service technicians and channel partners supporting CAD/CAM and Imaging systems
Defines clear training objectives and learning outcomes aligned with product capabilities, service requirements, and business priorities
Delivers technical training in multiple formats, including on-site, virtual, and blended learning environments, to national and global audiences as required
Assesses training needs and identifies knowledge or skills gaps within service teams and channel partners
Creates, maintains, and owns high-quality training materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with product specifications and service requirements
Evaluates and optimizes training content based on participant feedback, product updates, system enhancements, and emerging technology trends
Teaches complex technical concepts and system interdependencies using modern digital training tools, multimedia resources, and interactive learning methodologies
Supports new product and market launches by developing comprehensive training concepts, executing train-the-trainer programs, and ensuring readiness of internal teams and external partners
Collaborates with global and regional stakeholders, including Service, Product Management, R&D, Quality, and Training leadership, to ensure training relevance and effectiveness
Ensures all initiatives are compliant with regulatory and legal standards and company policies
Complies with company and departmental policies and administrative requirements
Performs other duties as assigned or as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, Health Sciences, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in technical training, technical education, or related technical role
Hands-on experience supporting CAD/CAM and Imaging systems in a customer-facing or service environment
Technical expertise in CAD/CAM and Imaging systems, or related technical systems
Experience with adult learning principles and technical instructional design
Experience collaborating across global and cross-functional teams
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
Proficiency in information technology, including cloud-based platforms and networking concepts
Strong instructional design and adult principle knowledge, including experience with instructor-led, virtual, and blending learning modalities
Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in customer-facing and international environments
Proficiency with digital learning tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia training platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
Ability and willingness to travel as required to support training delivery, including domestic and occasional international travel
Ability to travel up to 50% within North America and occasionally internationally
Valid passport required
Deep understanding of CAD/CAM and Imaging systems, including system integration and troubleshooting concepts
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging, and effective training experiences
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse and international audiences
Focused on delivering high-quality training that supports service excellence and customer satisfaction
Ability to assess training needs, identify knowledge gaps, and measure training effectiveness
Works effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional partners
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving technical environment with frequent product and technology changes
Consistently demonstrates ethical behavior and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
