Research
Responsibilities
Assist in conducting experiments and tests to support product development
Analyze data and document findings for reporting purposes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product innovations
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
Support training of junior staff members in lab protocols
Qualification
Required
1–3+ years hands on experience in a microbiology lab (or equivalent academic, internship or co-op experience)
BS or MS in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or related discipline with microbiology coursework/labs
Experience in microbiology (bacteria, microbes, fungi, pathogen, and yeast); will consider Cell culture experience as long as have experience with cell counting and media preparation
Aseptic technique; operation of micro lab equipment (autoclave, incubators, membrane filtration, pH meter, balances, biosafety cabinet)
Serial dilutions, pour/spread plates, colony counting, culture transfers
