Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express
Build and enhance React-based web applications
Design and implement integrations with:
Payment systems
Core banking systems
Internal enterprise APIs
Work within enterprise security frameworks (authentication & authorization)
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs
Write unit tests using frameworks such as Mocha / Chai
Work with SQL databases
Collaborate on integration with Python-based batch jobs and RAG pipelines
Participate in system design and architecture discussions
Ensure compliance with enterprise security and API standards
Qualification
Required
Modern JavaScript
Node.js with Express framework
React.js
Strong hands-on experience in Node.js
Experience with Express.js
Strong React.js front-end development experience
Experience building and integrating REST APIs
Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with SQL databases (basic to intermediate proficiency required)
Experience with authentication & authorization: OAuth 2.0, SSO
Experience with unit testing frameworks: Mocha, Chai
Strong system design and integration experience
Experience working on enterprise applications
Any bachelor's degree is fine
Preferred
Banking / Financial Services experience preferred
Experience with enterprise security frameworks (similar to internal API/security frameworks)
Experience integrating with: Core banking systems, Payment systems
Python (basic understanding)
Exposure to batch jobs
Understanding of RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines
Vector database integration knowledge
Experience with MongoDB (future roadmap, not current requirement)
Experience with internal enterprise API frameworks
