Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain software products and tools
Work with mixed teams of data engineers, actuaries, and non-technical subject matter experts
Design, build, and maintain innovative products and solutions for a wide range of clients across the healthcare industry
Develop on premises applications and cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure
Automate solutions and develop pipelines for efficient maintenance
Develop robust automated testing tools
Deploy infrastructure as code with Terraform
Build and design proof of concept implementations for new features and products
Promote and enhance technical products with clients and stakeholders
Mentor and lead junior team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field
5-10 years of software development experience, including 5 in a senior or lead role
Experience working with Medicare pricing and healthcare claims data processing and integration
Expert level technical proficiency in: Cloud development (Azure technologies preferred) or AWS
Software development and architecture experience (C# / .NET and Python preferred)
Product experience in Databricks, Data engineering, Back-end development, and systems integration
Experience with SQL and Database design and maintenance
Strong attention to detail and commitment to creating accurate, scalable, maintainable software
Strong written and oral communication
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Azure or AWS developer certifications
Experience working with Excel and SAS
Experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment
Experience with React, JavaScript, Terraform, CosmosDB, and Docker
