Electronics Engineer
Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a professional electronics engineer to contribute to the development and execution of electronics engineering projects. The role involves providing technical leadership and project management to ensure mission success through innovative hardware and software solutions for the warfighter.

Responsibilities
Serve as a professional electronics engineer with project management, execution, and operational responsibility in assigned area(s)
Considered the technical expert for the organization in electronics engineering assignments concerning Electronic Warfare Systems
Provide technical leadership and management to ensure project/program success
Guide and evaluate the design and development activities of others
Provide capability to the warfighter via Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) software and hardware solutions to ensure mission success while meeting commitments to safety, quality, schedule and cost
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship
Obtain & maintain the appropriate security clearance
A Professional degree at the bachelor's level from an ABET accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or a closely related discipline
Knowledge of professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment to effectively apply advanced engineering theories, principles, and concepts to project development, execution, and advisory services
Knowledge of development testing and evaluation sufficient to apply experimental theories and new applications to issues and provide technical advice and direction in support of weapon systems, subsystems, and/or support equipment
Knowledge of integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment sufficient to plan, design, test, troubleshoot, evaluate, and oversee the development and/or sustainment of electronic systems or devices
Knowledge of the principles of planning and program management; standard acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures; and other engineering disciplines
Ability to devise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for design approaches, and to assess the impact of new technology on current systems and processes
