Responsibilities

Designing and implementing enterprise-wide governance frameworks, leveraging Microsoft Purview for cataloging, lineage, compliance, and access control
Developing enterprise data governance frameworks (policies, standards, stewardship models)
Managing metadata, lineage, and classification
Implementing master data management (MDM) and reference data frameworks
Utilizing hands-on experience with Purview Data Catalog, Data Map, and Compliance features
Integrating with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Power BI, and other MS ecosystem tools
Establishing role-based access control and sensitivity labeling
Demonstrating familiarity with provider data models (EHR, EMR, claims, patient records)
Ensuring knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH, and healthcare compliance requirements
Understanding interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
Translating governance requirements into scalable technical solutions
Partnering with compliance, IT, and clinical stakeholders
Driving adoption of governance practices across diverse teams
