Program Coordinator
Good Business Network of Washington is focused on building resilient local economies through collaboration. They are seeking a Program Coordinator for the Seattle Restored program to manage day-to-day operations, support small business participants, and coordinate logistics for various events and activities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate Seattle Restored support for 30 – 45 program participants annually
Driving and delivering items regularly to Downtown Seattle, Lake City, and potentially other Seattle neighborhoods
Visit all active participants at a minimum once per month throughout the duration of their pop-up
Serve as the primary contact for pop-up facility emergencies (including evenings/weekends)
Lead participant onboarding sessions, ensuring participants understand their program obligations, including submitting required licenses, permits, surveys, and reports
Coordinate initial and exit walk-throughs of venues to ensure keys are exchanged, spaces are returned to their original condition, and any tenant improvement requests are formally approved by property owners
Support ongoing requests and needs from participants
Track all activation assets and activities using Slack, Google Docs, and Airtable
Set up, troubleshoot, monitor, and address challenges for GPS check-ins
Set up and troubleshoot Wi-Fi hotspots
Transport and deliver activation materials, including coordination of window clings
Deliver and ensure understanding and use of digital passport materials
Coordinate photography sessions, interior design consultations, and newly developing partnerships
Coordinate space alteration requests with the Program Director and the property owner
Serve as primary participant support and liaison to the Marketing & Communications team
Liaise with the Good Business Network Events and Partnerships Manager to coordinate Seattle Restored events as needed
Submit accurate and timely invoices in accordance with the Seattle Restored program budget
Attend internal and external program meetings
Attend Good Business Network staff meetings and contribute to the advancement of the organization’s mission
Foster positive partnerships through diplomacy and thoughtful communication, and have the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and care
Communicate the goals and vision of Seattle Restored clearly and consistently
Demonstrate professionalism, inclusivity, and respect in all interactions
Represent Good Business Network and Seattle Restored as a reliable, solutions-oriented partner
Ensure that communications, presentations, and materials reflect Good Business Network and Seattle Restored’s standards and values
Serve as the primary coordinator for application cycles
Support the development of applications and related FAQs
Support the development and use of a rubric for application evaluation
Support the presentation of online and in-person info sessions
Support the community panel process
Manage informational meetings where appropriate
Review applications
Support the interview process for top applicants
Coordinate translation and ASL needs
Communication and follow-up with applicants regarding acceptance or rejection
The ability to safely lift 20 pounds, move, transport, and coordinate program materials is an essential function of the role
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-activity environments, including evenings or weekends as required for events
Access to and regular use of a reliable car with the ability to routinely transport materials and equipment

Ability to work diplomatically with multiple different personality types
Experience with the local small business community
Proactive with the ability to accomplish work efficiently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy

Ability to work with hard deadlines
Adaptive to a number of different technology platforms and organizational systems
Working knowledge of or the ability to learn Google Suite, Slack, WordPress, Notion, Canva, and NeonOne
Passionate about inclusive and sustainable local economic development across multiple industries
Eager to learn and a quick study if existing knowledge in the subject area is limited
