The Assistant Controller will collaborate directly with the CFO and oversee various accounting functions while helping to build scalable processes for a rapidly expanding organization.

Support both day‑to‑day accounting operations
Collaborate directly with the CFO
Oversee transactional accounting
Develop costing models
Enhance inventory accuracy
Strengthen internal controls
Help build scalable processes and reliable financial analysis/insights
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required; CPA preferred but not mandatory
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate or public accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or product‑based environment
Strong understanding of GAAP and the month‑end close process
Prior experience supervising accounting staff
Cost accounting, inventory analysis and related experience helpful
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
Ability to manage and protect confidential financial information
Preferred
Experience with cost accounting or inventory accounting
Familiarity with manufacturing, distribution, or retail operations
