Responsibilities
Perform and present analytical test results to Senior Scientists and Engineers
Become proficient in advanced analytical tools including: Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Confocal 3D Fluorescence Microscope, Microscope FTIR
Develop and iterate upon test methodologies
Discuss test results and suggest future project directions
Support routine analytical services by analyzing samples from other teams
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September
Familiar with the university's requirements to participate in a co-op program
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Open-minded and eager to learn new techniques
Strong data analysis and organizational skills
Knowledge in analytical or organic chemistry or digital imaging analysis
Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively
Preferred
Graduation Year: 2027 or later
Desired Major(s): Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science
