Responsibilities
On-site event management of selected sports, assisting full-time facility staff with set-up/breakdown of home athletic events, contacting visiting teams and officials, creating and/or updating athletic operations manuals, coordinating and guiding tours of Athletic Association facilities, managing special events and rentals, assisting staff with facility maintenance and projects and performing day-to-day office duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring and supervising student staff, on-site event management of selected sports, scheduling staff for various athletic events, assisting full-time facility staff with set-up/break down of home athletic events, contacting visiting teams and officials, creating and/or updating athletic operations manuals, coordinating and guiding tours of Athletic Association facilities, managing special events and rentals, assisting staff with facility maintenance and projects and performing day-to-day-office duties
Qualification
Required
On-site event management of selected sports
Assisting full-time facility staff with set-up/breakdown of home athletic events
Contacting visiting teams and officials
Creating and/or updating athletic operations manuals
Coordinating and guiding tours of Athletic Association facilities
Managing special events and rentals
Assisting staff with facility maintenance and projects
Performing day-to-day office duties
Hiring and supervising student staff
Scheduling staff for various athletic events
Driving is a requirement of this position
Completion of a background investigation including a criminal background check
