Responsibilities

As a UX/UI Design Intern, you will be responsible for transforming complex user needs into intuitive, pixel-perfect digital experiences through a mix of hands-on research, iterative wireframing, and high-fidelity visual design
Throughout this internship, you will gain practical experience in navigating the end-to-end design lifecycle, learning how to balance user-centricity with business objectives and technical feasibility in a professional environment

Required

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Preferred

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
A digital portfolio showcasing projects that demonstrate your design process, from initial research and sketches to high-fidelity mockups
Foundational knowledge of industry-standard design tools, specifically Figma
An understanding of UX principles, including user research methodologies, information architecture, and usability testing
An eye for typography, color theory, layout, and a commitment to maintaining visual consistency within a design system
The ability to articulate your design decisions clearly and a willingness to iterate based on feedback from peers and stakeholders
A curious and analytical approach to identifying user pain points and creating elegant, functional solutions
Understanding of design system concepts, including working with reusable components, style libraries, and maintaining visual consistency across multiple screens
