Responsibilities
Responsible for analyzing data and delivering insights that support the growth of Serta Simmons Bedding across retailers and channels
Conduct analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and trends; monitor competitor and industry activity
Evaluate trade areas, demand drivers, customer profiles, and competitive landscape to prioritize markets
Assess potential sites using traffic, competition, and key risk factors within the mattress retail space
Develop dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses; translate insights into clear, executive-ready recommendations
Maintain consistent scoring, documentation, and version control for recurring analyses
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and innovation teams to deliver impactful insights and presentations internally and externally
Support prioritization of analytics initiatives, identify growth opportunities, and highlight emerging risks
Drive new business intelligence and planning initiatives—both internal and external—to enable smarter decision-making and align capital and resource allocation with strategic goals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing Research, Business, Economics, Management, Supply Chain, or related field
3–5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role
Ability to translate research and insights into actionable strategies
Experience with location analytics and/or trade area analysis (Placer.ai preferred)
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint for clear, visual storytelling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional audiences
Solution-oriented problem solver and self-starter who can work independently
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI preferred)
