Responsibilities
Conduct performance testing on gas turbine engines across multiple Jet Engine platforms
Perform inspections and operational tests on military and commercial gas turbine engines
Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace engine components to meet performance standards
Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to determine proper operating conditions
Assist in the preparation and de-preparation of engines for testing
Inspect engine components prior to installation (if needed)
Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality
Complete relevant paperwork to ensure accuracy
Observe all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations
Perform additional tasks as required to meet operational and business needs
Qualification
Required
3 years aviation maintenance experience
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
Preferred
2-year previous test cell experience running military or commercial engines
FAA Powerplant Certification is a plus
Strong understanding of aviation regulations, manuals, and inspection procedures
Apprenticeship, formal training, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints
Exceptional time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with precision
