Responsibilities
Define retrofit scope based on customer and internal engineering requirements
Modify and program Allen-Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000)
Develop and update HMIs (FactoryTalk preferred)
Design and revise electrical schematics using EPLAN P8
Create and manage BOMs within PLM systems
Support panel builds, testing, troubleshooting, and validation
Travel as required to support machine start-up and commissioning
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and UL standards
Maintain accurate documentation and as-built drawings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
2–5 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
Strong proficiency in Allen-Bradley PLC programming (Studio 5000)
Experience updating electrical schematics (EPLAN preferred)
Experience supporting machinery retrofits or equipment upgrades
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems independently
Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred
Experience in packaging, filling, or material handling equipment
Experience with Siemens or B&R platforms
Knowledge of UL 508A and NFPA 79
Bilingual (Spanish or French) a plus
