Program Coordinator, HPCC
Harris County Public Health is dedicated to improving health outcomes for the third most populous county in the United States. The Program Coordinator will support the management, operations, and implementation of Health Prevention and Coordinate Care initiatives, ensuring efficient planning and execution of programming while assisting with various administrative activities.

Responsibilities
Support program planning and reporting while monitoring performance metrics to ensure alignment with HPCC organizational and strategic goals related to HCPH
Responsible for monitoring and tracking usage and of services related to program assets, in addition to submitting and tracking programmatic related documents, such as contracts, agreements/MOUs, Commissioner Court documents
Responsible for the coordination of program outreach efforts in alignment with the mission of HPCC programs
Assists department with program financials, including, but not limited to, submitting requisitions, purchase orders, and supply/inventory orders
Provide administrative oversight/facilitation to support emergency preparedness and response related activities
Serve as backup to the HPCC Executive Assistant to the Director by providing administrative support, managing schedules, managing invoices/requisitions/ordering, coordinating meetings, and ensuring continuity of operations as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university; and two (2) years of experience working in a non-profit, public health, business/healthcare administration or related field
OR Associate's degree; and four (4) years of experience working in a non-profit, public health, business/healthcare administration or related field
Experience with research and presentation development
Advanced in the use of a desktop/laptop, tablet and cellphone along with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vision, Outlook)
Knowledge of social determinants of health (e.g., education, employment, housing, social support) and their impact on individuals
Ability to work with limited supervision, demonstrates a high-level of integrity and professionalism
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
Understands the organizational mission
Understands ethics and public good; is concerned with public trust
Demonstrates respect for the opinions and beliefs of others
