Qatar LIDS Program Manager

Responsibilities

Responsibility for financial, schedule, and technical performance of the program
Coordination of suppliers/teammates for effective execution
Multidisciplinary team leadership, internal and external program reviews, program execution assessments through direct customer engagement, proposal preparation, supplier management, and program management status reporting
Align the priorities and provide clear direction; actively manage risk mitigation, cost savings and schedule mitigation strategies
Serve as the day-to-day customer interface for detailed status and technical performance
Must anticipate and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction and continued business based on sound weapons technical experience and contract execution
Direct the performance of program task elements such as engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, contracts, finance, and administrative functions in the execution of required gate reviews and financial activities as well as program execution
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Required

Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and minimum 10 years of experience is required
Experience as a Program Manager
Experience with testing and demonstration events on customer ranges and/or military equipment procurement/production
Experience with the Army or other DOD community
Experience managing programs while meeting financial, schedule and performance requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Master's in Business Administration
Program Management Level 3 Certification (or equivalent) or ability to achieve within 12 months
Effective communication (to include technical writing, presentation preparation & presentation delivery), organization, and problem-solving skills
Effective team building and leadership skills
Experience with FMS programs
Ability to monitor, interact and maintain execution synergy and focus for multiple diverse technical teams to support customer goals
IMS and EVMS implementation and execution, to include meeting EAC requirements
Strong financial management background in order to maintain effective EAC management
