Responsibilities
Travel between ACS’s 37 office locations, delivering on-site remediation and support
Develop solutions and plans for updating ACS IT devices as directed
Address vulnerabilities and deficiencies affecting laptops, tablets and smartphones
Support remediation of zero-day vulnerabilities as identified by Cyber Command and ACS CISO
Resolve network reconnection issues, ensuring devices that have fallen out of compliance can rejoin the ACS network
Work directly with end users to troubleshoot issues that prevent regular patching, updates, and compliance
Document and provide work activity reports as defined by ACS IT Management
Create technical documents as needed
Provide guidance to supervised staff regarding escalated issues
Develop schedules and staff assignment matrices for the team working in various boroughs
Escalate issues to ACS IT Management
Ensure customer service standards are maintained when the team is interacting with ACS staff
Perform additional technical tasks assigned to augment ongoing cyber remediation efforts
Qualification
Required
1 to 2 years' experience in IT Technical Support team leadership in an enterprise environment with a focus on cyber security
2 to 4 years' experience in supporting and maintaining a Microsoft Windows computing environment with hands on troubleshooting and maintaining systems
Experience supporting mobile devices running Android and Apple iOS operating systems
Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity engineering, information systems or related discipline
Strong knowledge of IT supportive skills using ticketing systems and project management tools
Skilled at working independently, with direction from ACS IT management and prioritize multiple tasks for the team and adapt to needed changes
Understand and follow broad and complex instructions while maintaining confidentiality
Effectively communicate technical issues to team members and diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally
Comprehend technical language and to confer, analyze and write in an objective, lucid manner
Create workflows and technical documentation
Remain calm under high pressure/difficult situations
Preferred
Preferred certifications: Security+, Network+, A+ from CompTIA, cyber security certifications such as CISM, ITIL certifications
