Inventory Control Analyst II
Global Edge Group is an international staffing firm that connects projects worldwide with talented project professionals. They are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst II to support a large-scale industrial operation, ensuring accurate inventory levels and efficient product distribution.
Responsibilities
Schedule and adjust shipment plan to ensure efficient distribution and customer satisfaction
Analyze inventory levels, production rates, and demand forecasts to determine optimal reorder points
Maintain product availability while minimizing inventory carrying costs
Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and transactional variances
Prepare inventory and asset valuation reports
Process and reconcile inventory transactions within ERP systems
Identify excess, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions
Support moderate to high complexity inventory analysis and decision-making
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, finance, and warehouse teams
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, materials management, or warehouse operations
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, pivot tables preferred)
Experience working within an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to analyze data and make informed inventory decisions
Strong problem-solving skills and process-oriented mindset
Preferred
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
