Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines for prototype production
Machine semi-complex polycarbonate parts with frequently changing designs
Work with engineers to support proof-of-concept and design modifications
Perform inspections to ensure precision and quality standards
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as needed
Maintain organized documentation and adhere to quality processes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist in a prototype or machine shop environment
Ability to program, set up, and operate independently
Strong understanding of machining plastics, particularly polycarbonate
Experience working with frequently changing designs
Experience with Ginutche machines
Experience operating 3-axis Haas Mini Mills
Strong experience with Mitsubishi or Fanuc controllers
CAM Software experience: Surfcam (preferred), OR Fusion 360, OR Mastercam (must be able to integrate with existing machines)
