IT Specialist
Piper Companies is seeking an IT System Specialist to deploy and maintain IT systems inside Secret Collateral and SCI-accredited spaces. This role involves building, securing, accrediting, and operating the IT backbone of classified spaces, ensuring reliable access to tools for employees and maintaining corporate IT systems.

Responsibilities
Deploy and maintain IT systems inside Secret Collateral and SCI-accredited spaces, including SCIF infrastructure
Building, securing, accrediting, and operating the IT backbone of our classified spaces
Install and maintain CWAN, DISN, SIPR, and/or JWICS networks
Deploy classified-compliant workstations and peripherals
Support all end-user systems in coordination with our ISSM and Facility Security Officer
Qualification
Required
5+ years supporting corporate or enterprise IT environments
Strong experience with endpoint management (macOS, Windows, Linux)
Hands-on experience with identity and access management (SSO, MFA, RBAC)
Experience administering internal networks, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and office infrastructure
Strong understanding of security best practices for corporate IT environments
Ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment with minimal process overhead
Comfortable owning systems end-to-end with high reliability expectations
Preferred
Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Jamf, Intune, Kandji)
Familiarity with cloud-based IT tooling (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, etc.)
Experience supporting distributed or hybrid teams
Exposure to compliance-driven environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP-adjacent workflows)
Scripting or automation experience to streamline IT operations
Ability to obtain or currently hold a U.S. Government SECRET clearance
Experience supporting or setting up IT systems in classified or controlled-access environments
