Responsibilities
Lead and support legacy CIS to Oracle C2M data conversion activities
Analyze legacy system data structures and map to C2M data models
Design and execute data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes
Develop and validate conversion scripts, reconciliation reports, and data validation procedures
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data mapping rules and transformation logic
Support data cleansing, enrichment, and normalization efforts
Perform mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and production cutover support
Troubleshoot conversion defects and ensure issue resolution
Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
Document conversion processes, mapping specifications, and technical artifacts
Partner with cross-functional teams including billing, metering, finance, and IT
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in utility CIS implementations or migrations
Hands-on experience with Oracle C2M
Proven experience migrating from legacy systems (e.g., CC&B, Banner, custom CIS platforms, etc.)
Strong knowledge of data mapping, data modeling, and ETL processes
Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, data conversion tools, and reconciliation techniques
Understanding of utility operations (billing, metering, rates, customer lifecycle)
Experience in large-scale enterprise transformation programs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Document conversion processes, mapping specifications, and technical artifacts
Partner with cross-functional teams including billing, metering, finance, and IT
Preferred
Experience in regulated utility environments (electric, gas, water)
Familiarity with Oracle Utilities framework
Experience with data migration tools such as Informatica, ODI, or similar
Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
Prior experience with system cutover and go-live support
