Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift Container Platform clusters
Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift environments to ensure high availability and performance
Integrate and manage object data storage solutions to support containerized and Linux workloads
Maintain and administer Linux servers supporting OpenShift infrastructure, including patching, upgrades, and security hardening
Automate routine tasks and deployments using scripting and configuration management tools
Collaborate with development and operations teams to support containerized applications
Implement and maintain security best practices within OpenShift and Linux environments
Perform backup and disaster recovery operations for OpenShift clusters
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Required

Proven experience as an OpenShift Administrator or in a similar role
Strong Linux system administration skills (Red Hat, CentOS, or similar distributions)
Experience with container orchestration and management using OpenShift
Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts and architecture
Knowledge of networking, storage, and security concepts related to container platforms
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar
Experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience

Preferred

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
