Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in HVACR instruction, including theory and hands-on practice
Develop instructional materials, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with industry standards and student learning outcomes
Adapt instruction for adult learners, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and inclusion
Monitor and assess student progress, provide feedback, tutoring, and remediation as needed
Qualification
Required
At least 4 years of demonstrated experience working in HVACR repair and maintenance or related trades
Strong knowledge of safety practices, tools, equipment, and relevant regulations
Ability to communicate clearly to diverse student audiences
Reliable, organized, good at planning, with the ability to adapt lessons to varying student needs
Basic computer skills for recordkeeping, digital tools, learning management, etc
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Journeyman or post-secondary education
Applicable professional license(s)
Prior teaching or mentoring experience
Experience with adult or non-traditional learners
