Responsibilities

Create project timelines and deliver on milestone dates
Create cost targets and manage tracking through bill of material roll-ups
Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and customer-required certifications such as CE, CSA, UL and CSC
Lead design reviews and summarize technical objectives & results for stakeholders at gateway reviews
Organize and lead technical discussions to resolve issues in a timely manner
Translate functional specs into technical deliverables for the team
Interface with subject matter experts across the corporation to obtain and apply relevant information
Lead product design, bill of material definition, product integration, and 3D model development across multiple product lines
Confirm technical deliverables are met through the validation test plan and results
Guide and develop team members while allowing yourself to be developed in return
Deliver technical presentations to educate on the functionality and capabilities of Rental gensets
Interact with dealers and customers to diagnose technical issues with the product
Deliver follow up responses to dealers and process partners regarding interim and permanent corrective actions

Required

Bachelor's in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum
Extensive knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges
Extensive knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production
Extensive knowledge of effective team building techniques; ability to form and manage effective teams
Expert knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives

Preferred

Proven success leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
Strong cross-collaboration skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders toward common goals
Black Belt Certification (Lean Six Sigma) or equivalent process improvement credentials
