Responsibilities
Learn how to implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems
Combine technical and hands-on training with our team as you develop your Software Development skills
Participate in AWS internal training paired with shadow opportunities and industry recognized certifications
Meet clear benchmarks set to justify compensation increases, conversions or termination
Work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff
Adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions
Communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service
Follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. citizen who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces including Reserves, National Guard, and service member spouses
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM fields with an expected conferral date between October 2026 – September 2029
OR a graduate of Skillstorm, WA2VETS, or MSSA with a conferral date on or after 9/1/25 AND either a Bachelor's Degree in a computer/IT related field OR 4+ years of equivalent computer/IT experience
Preferred
Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript
Experience with data structure implementation, basic algorithm development, and/or object-oriented design principles
Experience from previous technical internship(s) or demonstrated project experience
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
