Steve Madden is a leading footwear company, and they are seeking a Manager for Master Data Governance. This role is responsible for owning enterprise master data standards, ensuring data integrity, and defining data conversion logic for ERP systems, with a focus on supporting the Wholesale Footwear business.

Responsibilities

Define and enforce corporate master data standards for product, style, color, vendor, customer, and reference data

Establish naming conventions, coding structures, and attribute requirements

Own data mapping and conversion logic between legacy ERP platforms and Infor M3 CloudSuite

Lead data cleansing, transformation, and validation activities for each migration wave

Partner with consultants and business teams to execute data extraction, transformation, and loading cycles

Monitor master data quality metrics and implement controls to sustain data integrity

Provide guidance and training to business users on master data standards and data entry practices

Serve as corporate authority for master data readiness prior to ERP go-lives

Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ERP master data management, data governance, or data conversion

Proven experience defining data mapping and conversion logic in ERP implementations

Strong understanding of product and merchandising master data

Experience working with external consultants and internal business stakeholders

Ability to drive enterprise standards across decentralized organizations

Preferred

Experience with Infor M3 or Infor CloudSuite

Retail, footwear, or apparel industry experience

Familiarity with data migration methodologies and tools
