Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security tools (Trellix, Tanium, Crowdstrike, MDE prioritized)
Design, implement, and optimize endpoint protection solutions for Oracle Cloud workloads
Monitor endpoints for threats, triage alerts, configure policies, and support incident response
Develop, enforce, and maintain endpoint security policies and procedures
Actively participate in Agile teams, leveraging Jira for sprint management, ticket tracking, and documentation
Continuously optimize security controls and processes, incorporating automation where possible
Document processes, create SOPs/runbooks, and mentor junior staff
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide security recommendations to executive leadership

Required

Minimum 7 years of IT/cybersecurity experience with operational endpoint security expertise
Hands-on experience with endpoint security platforms: Trellix, Tanium, Crowdstrike, MDE (priority order); additional platforms a plus
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud deployments and API/SIEM integrations
Strong background in Agile methodologies with Jira usage
Experience working in DoD or regulated, compliance-driven environments
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing teams (up, down, and laterally)
Active Secret clearance required
DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security+) certification required

Preferred

Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (or similar, relevant to MDE)
CrowdStrike Falcon Administrator (CCFA) or higher
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification or equivalent
Tanium Certified Operator
Trellix Product Specialist
CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent cybersecurity credential
