The role involves various maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, carpentry, and refrigeration maintenance.

Responsibilities
Plumbing: Repair and install commodes, lavatories, water fountains, and garbage disposals. Unstop sewer lines and drains, repair leaks, and repair / replace faucets
Electrical: Repair light bulbs. Repair / replace ballasts, receptacles, switches, and fans. Replace motors, pumps, etc
Appliance Repair: Repair washing machines, dryers, ice machines, and refrigerators
Carpentry: Repair doors, door closers, hinges, cabinet doors, knobs, baseboards, cabinets, furniture, door stops, windows, etc
Refrigeration: Performs preventive maintenance and maintenance on a/c units and air handlers. Clean coils; work on pumps to air handlers, motors, chill water valves, controls, belts, and filters
Keep a check on hot water temperatures and maintain a log
Run and service generators, and maintain a log. Inspects fire extinguishers monthly and maintains a log

Required
No experience or training is required
Preferred
Have you completed any semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses?
